BCD Watch | CSS-Tricks

A new tool from Eric Meyer, Brian Kardell and Stephanie Stimac, powered by Igalia’s support. Brian announced it on his blogas well as Eric, describe it like this:

What BCD Watch does is capture releases from it Browser Compatibility Data (BCD) repository. this underpins the support tables MDN and services like caniuse.com. It then analyzes what has changed since the previous version.

Every Monday BCD Watch produces two reports. The weekly change report lists all changes to BCD made in the past week – what was added, removed or renamed throughout the BCD. You’ll also learn which of the three major browsers has newly supported (or stopped supporting) each feature listed, along with a progress bar showing how close the feature is to reaching baseline status.

Browser support data can be found at MDN. There are also plenty at Caniuse.com. The two Share dataindeed, although not everything. We now have Baseline, which is also cited in MDN and Caniuse alike. It’s nice to see an effort to find a central place for all of this – organized by date, no less.

Oh, and hey, there’s a feed. Even better.
